My story
My name is David, and I'm the guy behind Bank Bonus Boss. My path into this started with travel. For years I used credit card sign-up bonuses to fly my family around the world on points, and I loved figuring out the rules that make those bonuses work.
Bank bonuses were the natural next step. A bank pays you a cash bonus for opening a checking or savings account and meeting a few simple requirements, like a direct deposit or some debit card purchases. I've been doing them since 2007, so nearly 20 years now, at banks like Chase, Chime, SoFi and Capital One. I've learned the hard parts firsthand, like which deposits actually count as a “direct deposit” and how long to keep an account open.
In my best years, bank bonuses have added $800–$1,000 a month for a couple hours of work.
Your results will vary. That's my own experience, not a promise. Bonuses depend on your eligibility, your state and how much money you can move around, and terms change often. Bonuses are also taxable income.
I started this YouTube channel in 2020, and in 2026 I'm relaunching it with one focus: making bank bonuses simple for beginners.
Why Bank Bonus Boss exists

I pick a few good offers, explain the rules in plain English (what counts as a direct deposit, how long to keep the account open, which banks are picky about new accounts), and show you which order to do them in.
